MARCUS STARR

Marcus Starr began his music career upon completing the Applied Music Program at Mohawk College, Hamilton CA. 

As a musician, Marcus is known for his exciting stage presence, searing slide guitar and lead playing, steady rhythm guitar, and vast musical versatility.  

Having performed many of Canada's premier music festivals (Festival of Friends 2024, Come Together Music Festival, Brantford Ribfest...) Marcus' music journey continues with Aster Nox (jam-happy mystic rock). 

Additionally, Marcus has been teaching private guitar lessons for over 15 years.

Marcus began his career as an author in 2020, during lockdown. Since then, he's penned over 50 stories, completed two full-length novels: Nora's Curse, and Monsters in the Moonlight (Creepy Short Stories), and is set to release his third novel: House of the Hungry Ghosts. 

As a writer, Marcus is known for his dark and witty humor, relatable characters, and stories that venture into the supernatural. 

Thus, my inquisitive friend, lend me your imagination, and let us journey together, for the future is vast and unknown...
